Esha graduated from the Asian University for Women in 2022 with a double major in Bioinformatics and Public Health. Her interest in microbial genomics deepened during two years of post-graduate research, where she worked extensively with microbes at a leading research organization in Bangladesh. Now, as a PhD student, her doctoral dissertation involves deciphering polymicrobial interactions in the lungs of cystic fibrosis patients, with particular emphasis on the quorum sensing pathway of Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
Beyond the lab, Esha enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family, reading fiction, collecting quotations, and watching The Big Bang Theory.
